HOW DOES THE LASER TAG WORK?
Our version of laser tag is more advanced, complex and super-charged than traditional venues. We are the largest laser tag in Ohio, if not the entire Midwest, featuring three arenas. Combatants can choose from 7 different realistic replica weapons and can play 25 different missions. Friendly-fire counts and combatants have a limited amount of life. We combine the best elements of laser tag, paintball, video games and action movies.
DO WE GET THE LASER TAG ARENA TO OURSELVES?
Most combatants participate in OPEN PLAY, and play with the general public. You may book an event and pay for a Private Sentry ($100/hr) to run missions just for your group during open hours or you may also rent the entire facility during off hours. For special events, we will close during open hours to host a private party.
WHO CAN PLAY LASER TAG?
The games are designed for ages 8 and up, although we can accommodate younger combatants with assistance from their parents. About half of our participants are kids/teens and the rest adults. It's also about 50/50 between men and women.
IS THE LASER TAG SAFE?
Coliseum X works very hard to provide a safe environment for our guests. We do not have projectiles and the lasers use an infrared beam like a TV remote control. Our Sentries monitor each mission from inside the arenas to ensure all rules are followed and reinforced.
IS THERE ANY SPECIAL LASER TAG TRAINING?
Training is only required before your very first mission. You will not have to sit through training every time you play. It lasts 3-5 minutes, depending on questions.
WHAT LASER TAG EQUIPMENT DO I NEED TO PARTICIPATE?
Comfortable clothes and a pair of closed-toe shoes (athletic shoes recommended)
DO I NEED TO RENT LASER TAG EQUIPMENT?
Everything you need for a successful mission is included - no extra costs. If you would like to store your personal items, we do have locker rentals available.
WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN COLISEUM X LASER TAG, PAINTBALL OR AIRSOFT?
First and foremost, no projectiles, no welts, no pain. The laser technology also enables us to accurately replicate a specific weapon's characteristics. Our shotguns spray like real ones, the MP4 has greater range, the P90 more ammo. The technology also prevents "KIA" combatants from continuing to fire their weapons and cheating. We are indoor and climate-controlled. You don't have to worry about rain-outs, cold weather, darkness. We're open year round, days and nights.
I HAVE A PHYSICAL DISABILITY, CAN I PLAY LASER TAG?
We hope so! All of our arenas are on one floor - no stairs, no ramps. We have multiple weapons, including pistols. Our missions require team work and not everyone has to quickly move around. Some team members may take on roles that require them to be stationary. We've had participants in wheelchairs, on crutches, in casts, and pregnant. Please call us to discuss or to arrange a free tour - we'll figure it out together!
HOW MANY DIFFERENT ARENAS/MAPS DO YOU HAVE?
Three - The Warehouse, Main Street, and The House. Each is about 5,000 sf, larger than the single room in most other places. Some more informatoin about each arena is listed here.
HOW MANY DIFFERENT GUNS DO YOU HAVE?
We have eight (8) different weapons to choose from. You can choose a different weapon for each game. The weapons and details are listed here.

CAN I PICK THE MISSION FOR MY GROUP?
When open to the public, Coliseum X is a shared experience with other guests, much like a movie theatre. Our staff follows a mission rotation schedule to ensure everyone plays a variety of missions and doesn't repeat any on that visit. However, if a private event is booked off-hours, we can pre-select some missions for your group.
WHAT IS THE PRICE FOR LASER TAG?
Walk-ins are $26 for a 3-mission bundle; Parties are $250 for 10 people. More info can be found here.
IS THERE A DEPOSIT?
There is a $100 non-refundable deposit. Should you need to reschedule we can find another time for you.
CAN I RESERVE A TIME WITHOUT A DEPOSIT?
A deposit must be placed to reserve the time. There is only one event per time slot on any given day.
WHAT IF I LOSE OR GAIN PEOPLE COMPARED TO MY INITIAL RESERVATION?
Laser tag parties are a flat rate for the party, whether you have 7,8,9 or 10. We can add a few more people to the party. The cist is $20 for kids and $25 for adults, per person.
CAN I RESCHEDULE?
Yes - we understand life can get in the way sometimes.
WHAT ID I DON"T WANT THE ARCADE CARDS? CAN YOU JUST KEEP THEM AND LOWER THE PACKAGE PRICE?
The arcade cards are free add-ons as an extra bonus. They do not have to be used the day of the event. If not used, they can be gifted to a friend or family member.
DO YOU HAVE PRIVATE ROOMS?
We do not have private rooms, but we do have reserved seating areas in our main reception area. Your seating is reserved for the entire time of the party, not just 30 minutes after the activity.
HOW MUCH SEATING IS AVAILABLE?
A ten person party will be have 3 tables of four(4) reserved.
HOW DO WE SIGN WAIVERS?
We have digital waivers that can be found online or they can be completed at a kiosk in the store. If a party is booked, the host will receive a digital invitation with a link to the waivers? Waivers are valid for two years.
CAN I JUST FILL OUT A PAPER WAIVER?
We do not have paper waivers. The digital waiver only takes about 3 minutes. Waivers are valid for two years.
