Combo Event Details

  • 2.5 Hour Event

    • waivers, registration, seating (15 minutes)

    • 30 minutes of Nerf or Gellyball Combat (only 10 players playing at one time; 12 person maximum party size)

      • Nerf/Gellyball Combat is Private; no combining of parties

      • Nerf/Gellyball Battles last 2-4 minutes, each; 7 different battle scenarios

    • 1 hour of Laser Tag Combat

      • Laser Tag Combat is not private unless its an off-hour event.

      • Groups will be combined with other combatants.

      • Laser Tag Battles last 10-13 minutes, each; 10 different battle scenarios.

    • VIP time for Food & Arcade (45 minutes)

  • Reserved seating for entire event

  • Group Photo

  • Blasters and Ammo provided. Groups can bring their own gear - both guns & ammo, but must have enough for everyone. We will not mix personal gear with Coliseum X gear/ammo. We are aiming for a level playing field.

  • Private Party - no other CX guests playing along in the arena

  • Recommended Ages

    • Nerf (ages 8+): players need to be strong enough to pull the loading slide on Adventure Force Blitz 6 nerf blasters

    • GellyBalls (8+): Auto loading, no reloads, battery powered

    • Laser Tag (8+): Auto loading, “digital reloads,” battery powered, limited lived and ammo.

  • 10 player maximum in one Nerf/Gellyball Battle. Larger groups can rotate teams.

  • Party Bookings

  • $299/group

    Gellyball Ammo: each player receives one ammo hopper containing 700+ rounds of ammo. Additional hoppers can be purchased for $5/each.

HOW DOES NERF WORK? HOW DO YOU PLAY

It's similar to Dodgeball, but easier on the arms and with softer balls.

DOES IT HURT?

Nerf "hits" do not hurt. Gellyball "hits" will definitely get your attention. They feel similar to airsoft "hits." We recommend long sleeves and long pants. A hit on bare skin may leave a temporary mark.

WHAT IS THE AGE LIMIT?

Nerf is recommended for ages 8 and up, but it depends on the kid's ability to load the gun and prime firing mechanism. They are mechanical guns (not motorized) and some effort is required. GellyBall is recommended for ages 8 and up.

WILL MY GROUP PLAY WITH STRANGERS?

All group events are private.

IS IT SUPERVISED?

A Coliseum X Sentry will supervise the Nerf/Gellyball games at all times, act as referee and game manager.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN PLAY AT ONE TIME?

10 players, total - 5 on a side. Groups with more than 10 guests will have to rotate. Maximum of 12 guests per party.

HOW LONG DO THE GAMES LAST?

We have several battle scenarios with different objectives. Each battle usually lasts 2-4 minutes. Groups should be able to play 3-5 battles during one party/event.

CAN I BRING MY OWN GUN?

Coliseum X provides standard nerf guns and ammo for all group events. However, if a group wants to bring their own guns and ammo, they must do so for all participants. Personal equipment will not be mixed with Coliseum X equipment. We want to keep game play fair for everyone.

WHAT TYPES OF GUNS DO YOU USE?

We use the Adventure Force blasters with darts or official GellyBall blasters.

HOW BIG IS THE ARENA?

The dedicated "soft" Arena is about 1,200 square feet with multiple obstacles. It's close quarters combat.

HOW CAN I WATCH?

Like all of our Combat Arenas, the Nerf/GellyBall Arena is on our video feed and can be watched from the reception area while you are enjoying Food, Beverages, Sports on TVs and free Wi-Fi.

WILL WE GET RESERVED SEATING?

Yes - all group events receive reserved seating for the entire event (2+ hours). You won't have to stand and walk around while people play.
